yesterday. not a whole lot of changes. most of us are right around the same as what we were 24 hours ago. now later on today, we're still gonna hold on to a couple of those low 90's for the stimulant. most of us, though, much like yesterday back down in the 70's to 80's. as for your roads, it is friday light so far. but today is the start of the holiday weekend. so expect traffic patterns to reflect that. a lot of people going to be doing your getaway forecast. so just make sure that what you're doing is getting on the roads early and not rushing anything today, especially if you do have plans on traveling more than just a few miles golden gate bridge. free of fog this morning. but there's some great overhead rain. right, john, thank you for that. happening today, san jose police. >> well, on the life of fallen officer long pham funeral services set for this morning 11. that's going to be a sapd center of san jose pham was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver while he was directing traffic earlier this month. we have

until a vandal deface their free palestine sign in the front window. this is happened 4 times. yes, by the same person. it was the 4th time that pushed them to reported after the person crossed out palestine and wrote free here. a lot of the community members themselves said like you have report at this time, it's something that we actually agreed with. >> when you write free here and there's kids walking by others. >> religious institutions and schools all around us. and that's just completely completely unacceptable. berkley police are investigating this as a hate crime. this is not going to stop us from serving coffee from. >> being an existing as palestinians and believing in a free palestine. this is personal for these brothers. their parents immigrated from palestine more than 40 years ago and started a new chapter in napa. and our parents are everything to us. and so they've been the number one supporters for be and us dealing with this hate crime or just sort of opening doors. we have about 2000 family members back in the west bank and old city in jerusalem.

also served as a coach from various sports, including track field, cross country, baseball, football. the school's track is actually named in honor of him offer to former colleague says he shot. he's heartbroken to hear the loss of his friend. yesterday's deadly crashes at around noon on westbound highway 12 in santa rosa. officers say that big rig did not stop as it was approaching intersection of fulton road. it created a chain reaction and 11 cars were involved. one of them a pickup truck caught on fire. 9 other people had to be taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. we're still investigating the cause. we're also learning more about the 2 people that were killed in a wrong-way crash in san jose. the truck that hit a tesla killing a 14 year-old boy, charlie olson and his mother, a 47 year-old rebecca wilson. they were inside that car. his father says the teen was a freshman who just started some in tahoe high school. investigators say the wrong way. drivers for florida. now he was taken to the hospital

with serious injuries and they have not said if he's going to be facing any charges. and the north bay, santa rosa police arresting 2 men accused of pointing a gun at undercover cop. this happened tuesday night during an undercover operation. this is a santa rosa undercover officer plan to meet the 2 suspects to buy fentanyl pills disguised as oxycodone police in unmarked cars are standing by to arrest them. but at the meeting, the men didn't have any drugs. instead, he took out a gun and robbed the officer tried to drive away and even ran into the patrol car. those suspects were arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. a san francisco restaurant owner now speaking out after his business in the castro has broken into 8 times just the past few years. gayle ong has that story. >> overnight, security cameras at guy chicken and rice capturing a man breaking and entering the restaurants. >> they just kick through 8.

gang members are in custody following a multi-agency investigation. police say the gang members are responsible for burglarizing pot dispensaries up and down the state. >> housed in kerman has that story. we are not talking about shoplifting. the couple of packs thc gummies far from it. at a news conference thursday, california attorney general rob bonta announced 22 members of an organized retail crime operation have been arrested and charged with burglarizing 15 pot dispensaries in california. those products were valued at over a million dollars. and among the products were about 1000 pounds in cannabis plant. >> though the burglaries took place across the state, including stores in sonoma, santa cruz and monterey counties. more than half of the 22 arrested are gang members from the city of oakland. this. >> a criminal enterprise, if you will, in comes the number of games most gains that we saw working in collaboration

when the baby girl was being pushed across the street in a stroller. we're told she has several broken bones, a head injury from the crash. she's recovering at home with her parents. police say they arrested luis manuel sanchez wednesday after recognizing his car. califortia highway patrol of oakland say the person has died in a two-car crash. they say this happened last night around 11:30pm, on highway 5.80, near 60. the avenues on-ramp. they say one person died and one of the cars involved. chp has not released any more information on this crash. but in fremont, police are saying a motorcyclist dead following a crash. there. so this happened on wednesday at about 06:00pm ryan, the city's griller neighborhood on osgood road. they say the rider was driving south when a car driving north made a left crashing with that motorcycle. this is not fremont. 6 fatal crash of the year. the driver did remain on scene. in fairfield. a man has been arrested after he was threatening to shoot students as they were walking to school. police say this all happened tuesday morning near grange, mile school police
