also served as a coach from various sports, including track field, cross country, baseball, football. the school's track is actually named in honor of him offer to former colleague says he shot. he's heartbroken to hear the loss of his friend. yesterday's deadly crashes at around noon on westbound highway 12 in santa rosa. officers say that big rig did not stop as it was approaching intersection of fulton road. it created a chain reaction and 11 cars were involved. one of them a pickup truck caught on fire. 9 other people had to be taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. we're still investigating the cause. we're also learning more about the 2 people that were killed in a wrong-way crash in san jose. the truck that hit a tesla killing a 14 year-old boy, charlie olson and his mother, a 47 year-old rebecca wilson. they were inside that car. his father says the teen was a freshman who just started some in tahoe high school. investigators say the wrong way. drivers for florida. now he was taken to the hospital

with serious injuries and they have not said if he's going to be facing any charges. and the north bay, santa rosa police arresting 2 men accused of pointing a gun at undercover cop. this happened tuesday night during an undercover operation. this is a santa rosa undercover officer plan to meet the 2 suspects to buy fentanyl pills disguised as oxycodone police in unmarked cars are standing by to arrest them. but at the meeting, the men didn't have any drugs. instead, he took out a gun and robbed the officer tried to drive away and even ran into the patrol car. those suspects were arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. a san francisco restaurant owner now speaking out after his business in the castro has broken into 8 times just the past few years. gayle ong has that story. >> overnight, security cameras at guy chicken and rice capturing a man breaking and entering the restaurants. >> they just kick through 8.

when the baby girl was being pushed across the street in a stroller. we're told she has several broken bones, a head injury from the crash. she's recovering at home with her parents. police say they arrested luis manuel sanchez wednesday after recognizing his car. califortia highway patrol of oakland say the person has died in a two-car crash. they say this happened last night around 11:30pm, on highway 5.80, near 60. the avenues on-ramp. they say one person died and one of the cars involved. chp has not released any more information on this crash. but in fremont, police are saying a motorcyclist dead following a crash. there. so this happened on wednesday at about 06:00pm ryan, the city's griller neighborhood on osgood road. they say the rider was driving south when a car driving north made a left crashing with that motorcycle. this is not fremont. 6 fatal crash of the year. the driver did remain on scene. in fairfield. a man has been arrested after he was threatening to shoot students as they were walking to school. police say this all happened tuesday morning near grange, mile school police
